Privacy notice

What Together and Stronger Central Asia collects, what it never collects, who handles it and your rights.

21 October 2026

We never ask about immigration or residence status.

Who is responsible

Together and Stronger Central Asia is responsible for the personal information collected on this site. You can reach us at contact@tascentralasia.org, or by post at 6285 E Spring St, #516, Long Beach, CA 90808, USA.

What we collect

Only what you choose to give us through our forms: your name, e-mail address, where you live, your preferred language, your role and anything you write in a message. If you request a call back, the telephone number you give us is used only to call you back. When you use the questions window, your questions are answered in your browser and are not stored by us. Our hosting provider keeps short technical logs of visits for security.

What we never collect

Immigration, citizenship or residence status. Passport, visa or identity-document numbers. Bank or card numbers. Health records. Please do not include any of these in a message.

Why we use it

To answer you; to record members and associations; to send your member card; and, only if you ask for them, to send news of benefits where you live. We rely on your consent, given when you submit a form, and you may withdraw it at any time.

Who handles it for us

A small number of service providers handle personal information on our behalf, under contract and only for these purposes: our web host, our forms provider and our e-mail provider. When a member chooses to use a benefit programme, the licensed provider of that programme receives only what is needed to serve them, and only with their agreement.

What we never do with it

We do not sell personal information. We do not share it with advertisers. We disclose personal information to a public authority only when the law of the place where it is held requires it, and we tell the person concerned whenever the law allows.

Where it is kept

Your information is kept with our service providers, which may store it outside the country where you live, with protections required by applicable law.

How long we keep it

Membership records are kept for as long as you are a member and for up to two years afterwards; messages for up to two years; call-back requests for up to six months.

How we protect it

The site is served only over encrypted connections. Form entries are stored outside the public part of the server, and access is limited to the people who need it.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you may ask us what information we hold about you, correct it, receive a copy, or have it deleted. These rights are recognised, in different forms, by the personal-data laws of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan, and elsewhere by the law where you live. Write to contact@tascentralasia.org from the address you joined with; we reply within thirty days.

Cookies

This site sets no advertising cookies. It may remember your language choice in your own browser.

Children

Membership is for adults. Children under 18 are included on a parent’s membership; we do not collect information directly from children.
